March 15, 2010

To bring you up to speed, the first two days (Sat/Sun) we spent the time at the pool at the hotel as well as then went on a Helicopter ride.  Then today the Caldwell family ventured out to Hollywood Studios.  We thought we would start the Disney experience with an easier lower key park first.

The day started out with a visit to Ariel's under the Sea adventure and it was a nice way to start out the day.  The show was terrific and the girls had a blast.  From there we got our first "fast pass" to at the Toy Story ride and found out that we couldn't go back to the ride until 4:30.  We thought WOW what a popular ride this must be.  After we got our fast pass we headed over  to meet Mickey Mouse and got our picture taken with the big guy.  This is when Emma got in trouble, when she bonked Mickey on the nose and then pulled the cord on his cape.  Thankfully that was the only time she got in trouble.  Later in the day we saw the Lights Camera Action Show which is a stunt show and Emma was enthralled!  She loved every moment of it.  We then headed to the Star Wars adventure and Emma again was my thrill seeker and enjoyed it, while Ella looked at Brian and I and said "this is not a fun ride".  Afterwards she was fine, while Emma was ready for the next ride.  We stopped and watched the Block Party where Emma and Ella danced with the Pixar characters and had a blast.  Finally it was time to head over to the Tower of Terror.  We had decided after the Star Wars ride we weren't going to have Ella ride it, so while Emma and daddy rode the Tower of Terror, mommy and Ella went and saw Beauty and the Beast.  Daddy said Emma had a great time on the ride and it was quite suspenseful, so I am glad that we didn't take Ella on the ride.  Finally, it was time to use our fast pass for the Toy Story Ride and it was definitely worth the wait.  We had a blast!!!  After all of that we were pretty tuckered out and it was time to head back to the hotel.

Tomorrow we are headed to the resort at Disney and Magic Kingdom is on the list.  The girls have their autograph books ready and we are very excited for another fun day at Disney.
